Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing & Inside Sales Support / Intern to support both our marketing and inside sales activities. This is an entry-level, learning-focused role designed for a student or recent graduate who wants exposure to B2B marketing, customer support, and sales operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to help with content synchronization, sales administration, customer inquiries, and internal organization. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and eager to learn how products are marketed, sold, and supported globally.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Marketing Support:
    • Assist with organizing and updating marketing collateral (one-pagers, brochures, presentations)
    • Support content coordination for social media, events, and product launches (basic photo/video organization, captions, posting support)
    • Help track and organize trade show materials, promo items, and event follow-ups
    • Assist with CRM data cleanup, contact updates, and basic reporting
  • Inside Sales & Customer Support:
    • Support the inside sales team by responding to basic customer inquiries via email or phone (with training)
    • Assist with quote preparation, order entry, and sample requests under supervision
    • Help maintain customer and order information in the CRM / ERP system
    • Provide administrative support to Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers
    • Help document customer interactions and feedback for internal follow-up
  • Administrative & Office Support:
    • Assist with daily administrative tasks to support the Sales and Marketing teams
    • Monitor shared inboxes (including [email protected]), voicemails, and social media inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate team members
    • Answer and screen incoming phone calls, directing them to the correct department when needed
    • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and special deliveries
    • Greet visitors and assist with meeting logistics, including preparing and organizing conference rooms
    • Help coordinate travel arrangements and occasional dinner reservations for the Sales team and executives
    • Support basic file organization for customer, billing, and internal records
    • Assist with online ordering and restocking of office supplies and equipment
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
    • Adhere to all WATERAX policies and procedures pursuant to sales administration processes and guidelines
    • Adhere to WATERAX guidelines and policies in matters of ethics and code of conduct
  • What You'll Learn:

Education & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong interest in marketing, sales, or customer experience
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of French and English
  • Assets (not required): Familiarity with CRM tools
  • Assets (not required): Interest in manufacturing, technical products, or the fire industry
  • Assets (not required): Knowledge of Spanish
